[Lose Weight by Eating] Books written by Audrey Johns -Telling How To Slim a Size 24 to a Size 4 | Book Review

What will you react when somebody, “But you have such a petty face.”? While he/she skips the other words in their silence, “Although, you are a so Big Bitch!” Find what Audrey turns her crisis (Obesity) into an opportunity(Lose her weight) from a size 20 to and stay-off at a size 4! She proves them wrong saying that!

I don’t understand what she said,
“My signature dish was anything that came out of a box and could be made fast—convenience was more important to me than nutrition. No veggies, no wholesome food, all because I thought nutritious food was boring, expensive, and difficult to make. I had been brought up on Shake 'N Bake, boxed side dishes, drive-thru take out, and quick microwaved meals…”
is, in fact, from the passage in somewhere introduction’s.

As claimed by the author, I have found the other passage that is contradictory information to what was written in the book—
“I started by giving up my first love, the zero-calorie diet soda, and when I lost ten pounds that first week without any other modifications to my diet, I knew I was onto something. The next week I stopped consuming all artificial sweeteners and five pounds flew off, and the following week I dropped another eight pounds by removing preservatives from my diet. I kept it up, and after a short eleven months, I had lost 150 pounds. I had gone from a size 24 to a size 4, I felt and looked amazing, and best of all my grocery (and medical) bills had dropped substantially. I hadn’t just proved that eating all natural could help you lose weight—I’d proved it was inexpensive as well.”
Honesty, in her book for the first statement above, I assume that she means nutritious food like food with veggies or healthy food are boring and particularly, they are expensive.

Klic! for more details.
However, the last line in the second passage, you will see what she said, and “I hadn’t just proved that eating all natural could help you lose weight — I’d proved it was inexpensive as well.” She eventually realizes that natural food helps for sitting down weight and it’s cheap too!?!?

On the other hand, wait! I confused myself; she just only thought that those foods—food from natural was excessive price, and then later on, I found that she was wrong? Sighhhh! How poor my English! Forgive me please...

I have read some parts of her book from the sample “LOOK INSIDE!” providing online from the website.

Well, Audrey wasn’t satisfied her body and weight; she was the baggiest woman with a pretty face in the room  So she was heard, “But you have such a pretty face.” All that didn’t heal her feeling, but hurt her instead.

Audrey, when she found she was 275 lbs.(124.738 kg). You can image how the girl with a lovely face in a dress LARGEST size of standard apparel size chart for women, a size 20 instead of a size 4 or 2.

What a matter is, no one ever wants to hear such a heart killing word like that, Audrey is either.

In this book, Lose Weight By Eating-Cookbook, you will the best impact solution of Audrey telling you how she got her weight loss from her largest at the 275 lbs to 120 lbs. and from a size 20 to a size 4 as she is at now. Her shape standstill, no entering into the special section of women’s wear for Obesity, which is, claimed the excess body. Time to say good-bye any large cloths and stayed off them after she had been struggling for a decade.

Wow! How pretty she is! So amazing!

However, that’s amazing in reality that you can touch it not only in dream!

She, Audrey has set up four goals to follow them, if you fail to do any one of them; you are simply back to the starting point again.
  • Skip the processed food and drinks, and go all natural.
  • Start planning your meals and log everything you eat and drink.
  • Gets your body moving.
  • Drink a gallon of water a day.
The step of skip the processed food and drinks, and go all natural:

Audrey claims that processed and artificial foods commonly made of oil, sugar, salt…for ingredient, they tend to be lower in nutrients and higher in calories—calories are the main element making fat if they are left after your body finishing burning all day every day. This is the fat you accumulate a Little by little, day by day beneath your skin; then you will cry out, “It’s me!”, “Really?” when you are looking at yourself in the mirror. Yes, it’s you, me, or someone else if they have the same  eating habit. That is what happens…? (Excessive weight person).

However, don’t worry too much if you were the one who is in the dream of the nightmare! Audrey tells you how to get rid of excess belly fat and converse them to muscle instead. On some pages, you will see some recipes which you can cook and enjoy your eating without interfere of something came up with your weight after an hour later on--increasing!

Start planning your meals and log everything you eat and drink:

Firstly, before jumping up to the plan of your meals and log, I would like to show you one of the news of the plan, which will come as a surprise to one and all, the whole world claim to acknowledge the importance of resolution setting—setting for remind what you are willing to do in order to achieve it. The number of goals that you intend to compete should be only one or two, because too many goals mean too many destinations you determine to go and get there.

In fact, a human being is not designed into having beyond abilities to manage or focus on lots of things at the same time.

However, more surprising, even most people realize the advantages of goal setting leading to withdraw their ambition in order to reach a better life, but, in fact, the only 20 percent of men/women set goals for themselves, roughly 70 percent fail to keep their disciplines walking in the way achieving the goals they have set for themselves earlier. It is a hot potato of practical life, human beings!

As the reason why the people have failed for arriving the goals, Audrey has created the plan for you, not stopping a half way during your diet plan. She also included how to less your splurge money and time so that you are going to be felt like you are not alone and even broke your money for all meals-planning menus.

Audrey writes in deep details such at what time you eat that and this-you will have enough nutrient-rich foods for a healthy diet for you survive pleasantly—no Yo-yo dieting consequences (Weight cycling) effects  the repeated cycle of weight loss through dieting, act in accordance with the regaining of that weight.

Look at the following example of Audrey is coaching your diet plan:

“I always encourage people to plan for their craving, not to fight them! If you have a daily three P.M. carbohydrate craving, be sure to have enough carbs at lunch. A sandwich or leftover Skinny Chicken Alfredo is great to curb afternoon carbohydrate craving.”

Gets your body moving:

At the drop of a hat, once I am on a reading to this paragraph. I love what Audrey has said, “Weight loss is 70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise, so you don’t need to be a marathon runner or a Zumba instructor to get the figure you’ve always wanted.”, although I don’t know that scientists prove this information.

“So why did I?

Because, being a marathon runner you have to start running to get your body ready for longer runs. Not only building your body to strong enough to run, but also you have to adapt your physical body with a variety of air and weather perfect for training and for the next big race and long distance in Marathon Tournament.

Ha! It is joyful on a hard and tough journey; I would say good-bye to that.

Zumba is an aerobic fitness program. You are instructed by the fitness trainer to move your body by various styles of Latin American dance.

Ooh-la-la, it is a good impress if you are able to afford your time and money.

Audrey is giving you another choice, in her book, she claims setting a reasonable exercise goal each week. Starting your time exercise from only one hour in your first weekly plan, if you cannot follow your plan exercising for an hour in your kick-off plan, you are at your starting place—one hour.

Whenever you had reached your target exercise plan, then you are advised by increasing more time of exercise in the next week. Increase you time by one hour each week of month until you will get totally burned out at seven hours per week, every week onward.

Drink a gallon of water a day:

When was in school at my young age, one of my subjects is Health Education—in this textbook, it tells you to intake drinking water eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. Therefore, it obtains 64 ounces per day. I have never tried to find out any answer for this quote. Just know they say that good for health and excretory system. I think not only me-just believe it because the teacher- primary school teacher teaches us about that. Am I credulous?

Audrey tells to readers through her book that many of her clients drinking water approximately 1 gallon a day (128 ounces). It is twice as far as I know from my school since I was very young.

What is the benefit of drinking water?

Why drink more water?

When you are starving, drink water instead of taking snacks to fill you up. Surely, it is not a bad idea. Because most snacks like chocolate, potato chips, peanuts, more often than not contain substantial amounts of sweeteners; a substance added to food or drink to make it taste sweeter, preservatives; a chemical substance used for preventing food or wood from decaying, appealing ingredients, and specially-designed flavors for more attractive and interesting luring your mouth-watering such as chocolate, peanuts…

Soon you will get hungry again— what you should do to end up your craving like somewhat coming up every 15 – 20 minuets!

Snacks commonly enrich three major nutrients: carbohydrate, protein, and fat—they are called as macro-nutrients. These nutrients are double—edged sword. They work both ways- good for you to intake as much as your body only needs each day; bad if you have them amount over then what your body consuming, they will become fat and stay everywhere under your skin, particularly, around your waist, hip, thighs, nape, and much more.

In fact, drinking water helps you in many ways, such as shoot up stamina & relieves exhaustion, boost weight loss, remove toxins substances, glows skin complexion, maintains body system, enhances immune system, prevents cramps & sprains...

Nevertheless, the doctor says; there may be benefits if drinking more. It helps maintain what the body needed, in the meantime, prevents and flushes out what are harmful the body. On the other hand, they add; even water is essential for living things, But still no prove it is a magic formula for a diet plan.

Best thing since sliced bread, Audrey has many ideas to help all of you on this matter climbing up to the top of the mountain(s) — Lose Your Weight — By Your Eating.

Now it is your turn searching for more information, recipes, plan, and whatever you want about Audrey’s say by your own self, especially how Audrey lost her weight for the first time in her life, and kept stay-off it by her own self through her cookbook, “Lose Weight by Eating”.

Trust: Mastering the 4 Essential Trusts: Trust in God, Trust in Yourself, Trust in Others, Trust in Life by Iyanla Vanzant | Book Reviews

Iyanla Vanzant, born on September 13th, 1953 as Rhonda Eva Harris, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.. She is an American inspirational speaker, lawyer, New Thought spiritual teacher, author, life coach and television personality.

She attended Medgar Evers College and Virginia Union University. Vanzant holds a Juris Doctor degree from the City University of New York School of Law.

She, Iyanla Vanzant, the New York Times best-selling author, from the Brooklyn projects to Emmy Award winner, from broken pieces to peace…Now her book, Trust: Mastering the 4 Essential Trusts: Trust in God, Trust in Yourself, Trust in Others, Trust in Life, is in the #1 Best Seller in Christian Self Help of the famous online shopping website.

Click now for more detail
The book opens up with the several question sentences leading readers to think that what their own answers should be are:

Who do you trust?

Everyone?

No one?

Some people?

And

Sometimes?

I have never been to America; thus I am so blind what the young men often do when they want to show and share their tales! However, this book helps me understand lives in the US and what they do such as these lines;

Young men often congregate on the street corners of towns and cities in every state to share tales of who they are and hope to be.
“They trust that their robust youth and bravado as well as the volume of their testosterone-laden speech will reassure their mamas not to worry about them and will also give notice to those who are up to no good that they are a presence to be reckoned with….; trusting the worst or their thoughts about them, they become self-appointed judge and jury, rendering justice blind.”
Am…according to the states mentioned above, should we re-think and research more what the exact they, a group of young men, do; then it might find light at the end of the tunnel. On the other hand, in these days, there are lots of social networks for keeping in touch or meet each other. In this way, life will be far away from any incident happen, - That’s my personal addition.

Once I have reached my reading to some other more pages. It said;

“Lord’s commandments to love thy neighbor as thy self.”

Oh yeah, what a wonderful world would look like! - if everyone just follows his precepts.

No weapons! No armed forces! No killing!

Nevertheless, what is the reality today? Whenever I watch TV or reading the newspaper, it shows me some of tragedy news most always. It hurts me.

I hope this book, Trust: Mastering the 4 Essential Trusts: Trust in God, Trust in Yourself, Trust in Others, Trust in Life, will chase anyone who finds it navigate his/her mind in the right direction; peace and happiness.

In addition, I believe in you, the four essential TRUSTS;

1.Trust in Self

Trust yourself because you are worthy of your own time, energy, attention, and love. You—as a demonstration of and representative of the presence of the Creator in the world—deserve and are worthy of your own trust . . . Trust yourself because it is the way you demonstrate that you are willing to embrace, engage, and enjoy life . . . Trust yourself because when the rubber meets the road, when all else fails, when everyone else has fallen by the wayside, you will know that you have always been and will always be there for you.

2.Trust in God

Trust in God because it is your sole purpose for being on the planet. Trust in God because you are a human being, prone to losing connection to and awareness of your good sense . . . Trust in God because it is the surest way that you will rise above your humanness into the truth of your authentic identity that is divine, purposeful, joyful, loving, and lovable . . . Trust in God because when you cannot do it—whatever it is—for yourself, God can do it through you and for you.

3.Trust in Others

Trust in others because it is the only way to fine-tune your instincts, deepen your ability to trust yourself, and learn the depth of your capacity to love and forgive . . . Trust in others because you need people to facilitate and support your mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. Even when your interactions and relationships are difficult, challenging, and uncomfortable, trust that you are growing. Trust in others because those whom you do trust—with or without good reason—will support you in recognizing the areas of your mind and heart that may still need loving care and attention.

4.Trust in Life

Trust the process of life because it is an incredible journey of wonder, adventure, and evolution that you can experience only in direct proportion to your willingness to trust it. Trust the process because life is on your side. Life wants to encourage you, inspire you, and motivate you, moment by moment, and that can happen only when you trust that life knows exactly what you need, and exactly when you need it . . . When you trust the process, you will deepen your awareness and understanding of who you are and the meaning of every person and experience you encounter.

It likes to hit the nail on the head when I have read to these Iyanla's good remarks;
“-will bring faith with one another, therefore, we won’t be lured into buying thing that we are told will help us or make us happy-they are not; as one line stated inside this book.
No more!

I extremely don't expect to see that kind of people behave themselves as she has claimed above.

Let's back to the introduction page of the book, it starts with the quote as follows;
Indeed, “learning to trust is one of life's most difficult lessons,” says #1 New York Times best-selling author Iyanla Vanzant. “That’s because trust is not a verb; it’s a noun. Trust is a state of mind and being. If you are serious about learning to trust, you need TNT—Tenacity, Nerve, and Time. But what if the real problem is not that we can’t trust other people; it’s that we can’t trust ourselves?”
Huh, honestly, at my first glance once I have hit the aberration “TNT”  , in my sense, it told me about a sort of “EXPLOSIVE”, but actually, they are Tenacity, Nerve and Time.

Oh! You-Iyanla, you didn’t lure me with that, did you? No no no! Give me a break for a moment.—now I know it very well, I am lured by myself! I'm going to take a medicine for now...lol

Iyanla writes this book by base on her real life linking to her tenets and some scriptures in Proverbs from the Bible as she was in a church with grandmother when she was very young.

There are some words from that book I really want to write them here, because I do love them.

You don’t start mountain climbing by scaling Mount Everest without equipment. So start where you are. Start with anthill in your own backyard. Build your trust muscles by considering the following questions;

That’s very nice speeches to encourage people starting to do something that they have never temp to do so. Iyanla is very excellent in breaking the wall of by allure with great motivate states.

Something came up to me, even I know and watch the Titanic film, but I don’t know to create any empowered remark as Iyanla does- Remember, the ark was built by amateurs; Titanic built by professionals; Bang away on my mind, the smile etch on my face.

There are many spiritual life coaches in the book, Trust: Mastering the 4 Essential Trusts: Trust in God, Trust in Yourself, Trust in Others, Trust in Life, which engage in human being practical life.

Before I gonna say good-bye, I would like to pass ONE more Iyanla’s contents in her book: No matter how bad the storm is, when you are with God, there’s always a rainbow waiting.

Absolutely agree with her?

I will keep my answer to this question in my mind.

“Ain’t nobody gonna put up with your mess in this world”, the last sentence of her book I pick for you all. That’s Iyanla’s grandmother talk to her occasionally; Iyanla quote in her book…

Best Book Review [I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became an Icon] by Touré Neblett

As far as anyone might know about the news of Price’s death, April 21, 2016 at his age 57 at Chanhassen, Minnesota, U.S. - To remind you, here is the book, "I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became an Icon" by Touré Neblett, we will talk about it.

Prince, full name Prince Rogers Nelson or also known as Jamie Starr, Alexander Nevermind, Joey Coco; was born on June 7, 1958, Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S. He is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist record, producer, actor and film director. His first album “For You” has released in 1978, after that Prince has succeeded in several singles "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?" and "I Wanna Be Your Lover".

Therefore, March 19, 2013, Touré has written a book, I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became an Icon, telling the story of Prince, which is deep in details.

Touré plays on words: When the icon takes their place on the stage they don’t say, “Look at me!” They say, “When you look at me, you’ll also be looking at you”, on his the first line on his book’s introduction pages. - He, Touré, realizes Prince is an Icon- a musical icon.

I am jumping into conclusion personally, after I have finished my reading Prince’s life and career, he is not an only superstar, but also an icon.

Why is that so?

Because he does not say the state as same as the other stars do, he says, “When you look at me, you’ll also be looking at you” instead of “Look at me!”, “Then you will see some shine in me”. Lol. Sorry, I’m just kidding.

In addition, Touré uses the word “zeitgeist”, the word for anyone who has the talent to reflect it-“zeitgeist” through his or her art. For generation X, Price did that.

[German: Zeit, time + Geist, spirit.]

Touré Neblett, born on March 20, 1971 in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. He studied at Milton Academy, following with Emory University but dropped out after his junior year, and again in year 1996, he attended Columbia University's MFA writing program for one year.

He is a music journalist, television personality, cultural critic and writer.

Talking about his work on writing, Touré has written a few books, The Portable Promised Land (2003), Soul City (2004), Who's Afraid of Post-Blackness? What It Means To Be Black Now (2011) and I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became an Icon (2013).

Celebrated journalist, TV personality, and award-winning author Touré investigates one of the most enigmatic and fascinating figures in contemporary American culture:

PRINCE

Drawing on new research and enlivened by Touré’s unique pop-cultural fluency, I Would Die 4 U relies on surprising and in-depth interviews with Prince’s band members, former girlfriends, musicologists, and even Bible scholars to deconstruct the artist’s life and work.

Prince’s baby boomer status allowed him to play a wise older brother to the latchkey kids of generation X. Defying traditional categories of race, gender, and sexuality, he nonetheless presents a very traditional conception of religion and God in his music.

Prince, he had also been an MTV megastar and a religious evangelist, using images of sex and profanity to invite us into a musical conversation about the healing power of God. By demystifying the man and his music, I Would Die 4 U shows us how Prince defined a generation.
