Harry Potter and the Cursed Child(Special Rehearsal Edition): The Official Script Book on The Play

"Are you a fan of the Harry Potter?"

If yes, I believe you know well the latest series, the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the series number eight in the Harry Potter book family is going to be released in July 30, 2016. To count down from the day I am writing this review is only two months and a half left.

As far as anyone of you may know, the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be on the play at the London’s West End’s theatre as same as the day of its official script book (Special Rehearsal Edition) to be on the bookshelves too.

The three key characters will be set to cast as follows:

  • Harry Potter: Jamie Parker
  • Hermione: Noma Dumezweni
  • Ron: Paul Thornley

These will lead the cast when Harry Potter and Cursed Child opens in London's West End theatre in the coming up summer. West End theatre is known as The Palace Theatre is a common term for mainstream professional performances which playing on stage likes the Broadway theatre in New York, United States.

Well, the book cover feature is not final yet. However, tentatively, it would look like almost the same as the latest previous book (7). Amber color for theme background and combine white color in the mid of its cover which having a bird nest with a child sitting inside it.

Synopsis
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
*The story tells the happening to the nineteen years later.

The play story is written and directed by Jack Throne and John Tiffany respectively. Jack Throne writes the script for cast based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling.

J.K. Rowling Bio.

Joanne Kathleen Rowling, born 31 July 1965, Yate, Gloucestershire, England. She graduated from the University of Exeter and held a degree in French and Classics. J.K. Rowling is a successful novelist, writes the notable novels as are Harry Potter series one to seven and now the latest one, number eight, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

She had written the other three more books for charity; “Quidditch Through the Ages” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”- These two books in aid of Comic Relief; and the third “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” in aid of her children’s charity Lumos.

In addition, in November 2016, you will see J.K. Rowling’s new role. Because, at the time being, she was preparing her screenwriting. Moreover, J.K. Rowling plan to be a producer on the film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, a further extension of the Wizarding World too.

Jack Throne Bio.

He was born on 6th December 1978, Bristol, England. He finished at St. Bartholomew’s School, Newbury, Berkshire. Jack has written for theatre, radio, and film. The notable awards he has received are:

  • 2009 Best British Newcomer at the London Film Festival
  • Sony Radio Academy Gold Award for Best Drama - 2010
  • Fringe First Winner - 2010
  • Royal Television Society Best Writer (Drama) - 2011 (with Shane Meadows)
  • BAFTA Award for Best Drama Series (The Fades) - 2012
  • BAFTA TV Award for Best Drama Serial (This is England 88) – 2012

Yeah, according to all the awards Jack has, that is the reason why he is one of the team in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the play and book.

John Tiffany Bio.

John, born 1971, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He firstly started study in Biology, but changed to Classic and Drama at University of Glasgow. He directed the internationally successful productions Black Watch and Once. He has won a Tony Award, an Olivier Award, a Drama Desk Award and an Obie Award.

Other recent credits include The Glass Menagerie at A.R.T. and on Broadway and The Ambassador at BAM. Tiffany was Associate Director of the National Theatre of Scotland from 2005 to 2012, and was a Radcliffe Fellow at Harvard University in the 2010-2011 academic year.
